Tanimura & Antle Artisan Lettuce and Pear Salad

Products Used: Tanimura & Antle Artisan® Lettuce, Tanimura & Antle Artisan® Sweet Italian Red Onions
Ingredients
- 4 Heads Tanimura & Antle Artisan® lettuce, washed, dried and torn into pieces
- ¼ cup Tanimura & Antle Artisan® Sweet Italian Red Onion
- 2 red pears, sliced
- 15 torn basil leaves
- ½ cup firm goat cheese, crumbled (substitute for Feta if needed)
- ½ cup toasted pecans tablespoons olive oil
For the Dressing
- ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 2 tsp. Dijon Mustard
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Pepper
Instructions
- Toast pecans for 5-6 minutes in skillet over medium heat.
- Add Artisan Lettuce, onions, pecans, and basil leaves to large bowl.
- Whisk together dressing ingredients.
- Drizzle dressing over ingredients in salad bowl.
- Top with pears and goat cheese.
