Tanimura & Antle Artisan Lettuce Winter Pear Salad

Products Used: Tanimura & Antle Artisan® lettuce
Ingredients
- 1 Pack of Tanimura & Antle Artisan Lettuce
- 3 Pears
- 2 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup candied walnuts
- 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
For the Dressing
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 clove garlic , finely minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
Instructions
- Chop Tanimura & Antle Artisan Lettuce and transfer to a serving bowl.
- Cut pears in half, core, and thinly slice.
- Add to a small bowl and coat with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Whisk together olive oil, vinegar, Dijon Mustard, honey, garlic, salt and pepper to create dressing.
- In a large serving bowl, layer lettuce, pears, cranberries, walnuts, and blue cheese.
- Drizzle dressing over salad and serve.
