Tanimura & Antle Artisan Lettuce Winter Pear Salad

Products Used: Tanimura & Antle Artisan® lettuce

Ingredients
  • 1 Pack of Tanimura & Antle Artisan Lettuce
  • 3 Pears
  • 2 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup candied walnuts
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
For the Dressing
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 clove garlic , finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Chop Tanimura & Antle Artisan Lettuce and transfer to a serving bowl.
  2. Cut pears in half, core, and thinly slice.
  3. Add to a small bowl and coat with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  4. Whisk together olive oil, vinegar, Dijon Mustard, honey, garlic, salt and pepper to create dressing.
  5. In a large serving bowl, layer lettuce, pears, cranberries, walnuts, and blue cheese.
  6. Drizzle dressing over salad and serve.
